BB's. Really?

Argyle is not a target, kids!

Last week, a day before the air gun incident in the Tour with Julian Dean, I was riding along the bike path on Broadway when I hear PING, then a quick sting in my arm. What the...? A second later I saw pickup growling as it accelerated away and kids yelling something blurred by the exhaust at me. Damn. I was fine, so I was just going to let it pass and chalk it up as another example of what happens when kids get bored. A bb hit my bike, but luckily didn't do anything because the path was separated by a good distance from the road. Not 2min later, I saw the same pickup waiting at a stop sign, apparently trying to decide what to do next. As they see me, the driver slams it into gear and drives off. I couldn't help, but sprint after them in chase. I continued to catch up to them as they took wrong turns or u-turns, meanwhile calling them in to the police. I had their plate and a description of the occupants, but a squad car didn't come until 5 or so minutes after they turned on a major road. I really hope someone pays them a visit and talks to them. Come on, you can't do stuff like that without consequences.
